AVEL Woodworking is a family- and veteran-owned woodworking business based in Chancellor, Alabama. We specialize in custom cabinetry, hardwood lumber, furniture, personalized gifts and specialty woodworking.

Our Story

AVEL Woodworking began as a passion for woodworking and grew into a family business built around craftsmanship, service and doing things the right way. Over the years, that passion has expanded into custom cabinetry, furniture, hardwood lumber, personalized gifts and specialty woodworking.

Today, we operate from our shop in Chancellor, Alabama, where we handle projects from the initial idea through fabrication and final delivery or installation. As the business has grown, the focus has stayed the same: quality work, practical solutions and products we’re proud to put our name on.
